Karl Anton Maier

Karl Anton Maier (born June 29, 1910 in Inneringen ; † July 11, 1971 in Tettnang ) was a German administrative lawyer.

Life

After graduating from high school in Ehingen in 1929 , he studied law in Bonn, Munich, Berlin and Tübingen from 1929 to 1933. Since his studies he has been a member of the Catholic student association KStV Rechberg Tübingen. He passed the first state examination in law in 1933 and the second state examination in 1937. From 1937 to 1938 he was a legal assistant at the agricultural cooperative headquarters in Stuttgart and from 1938 for the lawyer and tax advisor Dorlöchter in Berlin. From 1939 he did his military service and was then imprisoned. In 1947 he became district administrator of the Saulgau district and held this office until 1968. From 1969 to 1971 he was then chairman of the board at Energie -versorgung Schwaben . From 1947 to 1968 he was chairman of the board of the special purpose association Oberschwäbische Elektrizitätswerke and from 1960 to 1968 he was also chairman of the supervisory board of Energie -versorgung Schwaben.
