Karl crossbow
Karl Armbrust (born October 2, 1867 in Itzehoe ; † July 27, 1928 Kassel ) was a German painter .
Life
Karl Armbrust was originally a retoucher for a court photographer. He studied at the former academy in Kassel with Louis Kolitz and Wünnenberg.
His early works were portraits and representations from mythology and industrial paintings from the world of work.
Crossbow also lived and worked in the Netherlands for three years. After that, Armbrust lived and lived in the Wolfsanger district of Kassel and devoted himself mainly to landscape painting. Appealing oil paintings of the landscape and the places in the area were created. The scenic flair is reminiscent of old times.
