Karl Berner (doctor)

Karl August Berner (born May 6, 1888 in Böblingen ; † November 17, 1971 ) was a German medic.

Career

From 1945, Berner was the chief doctor of the Württemberg State Insurance Institute and deputy to the president. In 1951 he was entrusted with running the business. He was also the state medical examiner in Württemberg-Baden.

He achieved particular success in expanding the tuberculosis sanctuary and the medical service in the social security system.

Berner was a member of the student union Turnerschaft Alt-Württemberg in the CC in Stuttgart .
