Karl Crest

Karl Crest is a 1572  m high ledge on the Antarctic Ross Island . It rises from the western slope of Mount Bird 1.7 km west of its summit.

The New Zealand Geographic Board named it in 2018 after Brian Karl, who worked in the New Zealand conservation program for Adelie penguins from 1987 to 2016 .
