Karl Filser

Karl Filser (born February 13, 1937 in Apfeldorf ) is a German historian and history teacher .

Life

He studied education , philosophy and history in Munich. After receiving his doctorate in Regensburg in 1970 , he was professor for history didactics at the University of Augsburg from 1976 to 2006 . His focus is on Augsburg's city history, Lech rafting and Swabian Judaism.
