Karl Friedrich Matthes

Karl Friedrich Matthes (born November 21, 1829 in Schönbach ; † November 13, 1904 ibid) was a German conservative politician .

Live and act

The gardener's son, Johann Gottfried Matthes (1802–1880), worked as a factory owner and landowner in his home village of Schönbach after attending primary school. From the company KF Matthes u. a. the freight service at the Schönbach stop on the Taubenheim – Dürrhennersdorf narrow-gauge railway is supplied. As a representative of the 6th rural constituency, he was a member of the Second Chamber of the Saxon State Parliament from 1877 until his death .
