Karl Friedrich Reith

Karl Friedrich Reith (* 1941 in Frankfurt am Main ) is a German, formerly Catholic, now Protestant theologian and pastor i. R. in Herbstein .

Life

Reith studied at the Universities of Frankfurt , Paris , Bonn and Trier trays Catholic theology , philosophy , psychology and art history . 1974 Reith at Bonn University with the dissertation The Doctrine of God in FA Staudenmaier Dr. theol. PhD. From 1966 to 1968 Reith worked as a religion teacher. From 1969 to 1978 he worked as a research assistant at the University of Bonn. He then took on freelance activities, including a. Lecturer at the Funkkolleg Philosophy / Ethics.

In his book Micrology: Reflections on a Critical Theology. Reith takes critical positions on the respective theological totality concepts of the authors Gerhard Sauter , Wolfhart Pannenberg and Helmut Peukert .
