Karl Gelpcke

Karl Gelpcke (born May 27, 1895 in Berlin ; † 1941 ) was a German bank manager.

Life

After graduating from Luisengymnasium Berlin , Karl Gelpcke studied law at the Universities of Grenoble and Bonn. In 1913 he became a member of the Corps Palatia Bonn . In 1919 he passed the legal traineeship and was awarded a Dr. jur. PhD. From 1925 he was a board member of the Preussische Hypotheken-Aktienbank in Berlin and a commercial judge .

His father was the banker of the same name and president of the Berlin Chamber of Commerce (1932–1935) Karl Gelpcke.
