Karl Gilmer

Karl Gilmer (born August 31, 1841 in Friedberg , † December 10, 1894 ) was a German judge .

Life

The son of a district judge studied law in Giessen and Heidelberg. In January 1861 he was sworn in to the sovereign of the Grand Duchy of Hesse . In 1870 he became a regional judge. In 1879 he was appointed magistrate and in 1883 district judge. A year later he became a district judge. In 1894 he was promoted to higher regional judge. On December 1, 1894, he joined the III. Civil Senate of the Reich Court . He passed away 10 days later.
