Karl Grobe-Hagel

Karl Grobe-Hagel (born and known as Karl Grobe ; * 1936 in Bremen ) is a German journalist and author who deals particularly with foreign policy issues.

Grobe received his doctorate in 1980 from the University of Hanover with a thesis on Beijing's new foreign policy . He was a long-time employee of the Frankfurter Rundschau . At the end of November 2001 he retired. Even afterwards he worked for the Rundschau . Grobe also writes under the abbreviations "gro" and "CAROLUS". Grobe published numerous articles and books mainly on China and Vietnam.
