The Rivière Madeleine is a tributary of the Gulf of Saint Lawrence in the north of the Gaspésie Peninsula in the Canadian province of Québec .

The Rivière Madeleine rises at the foot of Mont de la Table in the east of the Parc national de la Gaspésie . From there it flows in a predominantly north-easterly direction through the Monts Chic-Chocs in the MRC La Haute-Gaspésie and finally flows into the Saint Lawrence Gulf in the commune of Sainte-Madeleine-de-la-Rivière-Madeleine on the Cap de la Madeleine . The river has a length of 117 km. It drains the north of the Gaspésie Peninsula. Its catchment area covers 1267 km². The mean discharge is 28.5 m³ / s.
