The Mont de la Table ( French for "Table Mountain") is a mountain in the Monts Chic-Chocs , a mountain range of the Appalachians , in the Canadian province of Québec .
The mountain is located in the north of the Gaspésie peninsula in the MRC La Haute-Gaspésie about 35 km east-southeast of the small town of Sainte-Anne-des-Monts . With a height of 1180 m , it is one of the highest mountains in southern Québec. The mountain is located in the eastern part of the Parc national de la Gaspésie . The Rivière Madeleine rises on its eastern slope. The Mont Jacques-Cartier , the highest mountain of the Monts Chic-Chocs, is located about 4 km east of the Mont de la Table.
The Mont de la Table is also known as a table top or tabletop .
