Karl J. Probst

Karl Johann Probst (born March 25, 1948 in Wildenschwert , Czechoslovakia ) is a German doctor, naturopath and non-fiction author .

Professional activities

From 1980 to 1984 Probst was a general practitioner in Nuremberg. During study stays at home and abroad from 1984 to 1989 he deepened his naturopathic knowledge, especially of traditional South American naturopathy and Ayurvedic traditions. From 1989 to 2005 he was a resident general practitioner in southern Germany. He founded and ran an anti-aging and health clinic called "Wellness-Energie-Center" in Ottobeuren , the first raw food clinic in Germany. Together with Helmut Wandmaker and Franz Konz , Probst is one of the three founders of the German raw food movement.

criticism

Probst is criticized for the use of his sulfur cure in cancer patients and the designation of conventional medicine as a "state-funded murder institution".
