Franz Konz (born May 16, 1926 in Cologne ; † April 23, 2013 in Kürten ) was a German non-fiction author on the subject of taxes and health .

Life

As a boy, Konz felt called to be a writer, but after graduating from high school, at the instigation of his parents, he trained as a tax inspector and auditor at the Reich Finance School . At the end of the Second World War he was used as a soldier in Berlin . After the war he worked as a tax inspector for some time before retiring from the civil service and first becoming a tax advisor and later a writer. In 1952 he wrote his first books, the content of which consisted mainly of tax tips. He was then sentenced to 17 months in prison for insulting and aiding and abetting tax evasion while tax investigators visited his clients. Konz felt the punishment was unjust. In the following years he was punished several times for shoplifting . He later wrote books on tax advice for decades, which by 1997 had reached a total circulation of 5.4 million.

After stomach problems, Konz was diagnosed with stomach cancer, which he claims to have defeated with the help of a change to original food , a strict type of raw food . Then he wrote next to his tax advisers under the pseudonym Chrysostomos also a health counselor about natural diet, which he initially in Eigenverlag issued. He also founded the “Bund für Gesundheit” association. As "Privatdozent Horst Krüger" he wrote letters to the editor to medical magazines in which he advertised wild herbs and cold showers. In 1996 he wrote the book "The Great Health Conc" and made the relocation of his tax advice dependent on its simultaneous publication. For this purpose, he moved from Heinz Wolf Fachverlag publishing group Langen Herbig of Herbert Fleissner .

Konz was divorced from his fifth wife Narine, before she had reported him in late 2012 for sexual assault and assault.

Tax advisor

The first tax advisor that Konz wrote dealt with tax saving opportunities for the Catholic clergy. Then he expanded his field to other target groups such as the self-employed , civil servants and finally all employees .

He experienced a breakthrough as an author when he provocatively asked in a direct mail “Should you throw a bomb in the tax office?”, Which at the same time led to disputes with the tax investigators and the law enforcement authorities. The experience gained from these processes prompted him to write the work “How do I protect myself against tax investigations and tax audits ?”. The further disputes that were finally brought before the BGH also prompted him to slightly defuse his writings - but unchanged in the tenor. On the subject of tax evasion , he took the view that it was an "offense, but an understandable one". His tax advisor "1000 completely legal tax tricks / The Great Conc" has been sold millions of times since 1985. The “Arbeitsbuch zur Steuererklärung / Der Kleine Konz” has been published since 1990 , a guide to filling out tax forms. Tax advisor Friedrich Borrosch is co-author of the “Little Conc”. Both books are updated annually. In contrast to conventional tax advice literature, which is perceived as dry and theory-heavy, Konz's style of presentation is characterized by a relaxed, ironic and sarcastic ridicule of the peculiarities of financial management and tax law . In the televised duel before the 2005 Bundestag elections, Angela Merkel called the "1000 completely legal tax tricks" a summary of all tax loopholes .

Health advisor

After his diet change, Konz founded the Bund für Gesundheit. In his health advisor, The Great Health Conc , he propagated a strict form of raw food, the so-called original food . Konz saw illnesses as the result of a life not in harmony with nature. He saw the medical profession as money cutters who wanted to make their patients sick.

He viewed diseases as nature's means of eliminating “waste”. Conc said about the HI virus :

“The viruses only appear increasingly in a body that has been damaged by drugs and stimulants, in order to help clear the waste. If need be, they will wipe out the whole of the living human being who culpably turned into a garbage can. You have received the commission from God for this. "

Conc expressed about AIDS sufferers :

“The body of the AIDS sufferer has been destroyed by aftersex , luxury foods, drug abuse and junk food . The HI viruses are now attacking him in great numbers. They are determined by nature to quickly take away the gift of life from the unworthy and most violently against the laws of the earth dweller, so that he cannot cause even more harm. But what is the purpose of the unproven extension of this scum of humanity by a few months at the expense of us, the general public? "

criticism

Konz took his Urkost or wild herbs -UrMedizin a particularly strict form of raw food , but the health effects are controversial. In 2004, a 16-month-old boy who was being fed according to Konz's teachings died after his parents refused to seek medical treatment for pneumonia on the basis of Konz's hypotheses . The child was completely exhausted and dehydrated.

Within the raw food movement, he was predominantly based on fruit sun diet of Helmut Wandmaker opposite, with whom he led controversial discussions about "food issues".
