Karl Jaani (born December 27, 1985 in Tartu ) is an Estonian beach volleyball player .

Career

Jaani played from 2006 to 2008 alongside Martin Ruul in Europe at Challenger, Satellite and CEV tournaments. In 2006 Jaani / Ruul took 19th place at the U23 European Championships in St. Pölten, Austria . In 2009, Rain Raud was his new partner, with whom he started in the FIVB World Tour on Åland and in The Hague . From 2010 to May 2012 Jaani played with Rivo Vesik . After the 2010 World Tour , Jaani was named Top Rookie . At the 2011 World Cup, Jaani / Vesik lost to the defending champions Julius Brink and Jonas Reckermann in the first main round. In 2013 Jaani played with his former partner Raud at two “Zonal Events” in Estonia and Latvia.
