Karl Kottenhahn

Karl Kottenhahn (born April 27, 1910 in Wattenscheid -Westenfeld, † December 29, 1981 ) was a German politician ( SPD ). From 1958 to 1962 he was a member of the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia .

Life

Karl Kottenhahn initially trained as a gardener after attending primary school . Kottenhahn joined the SPD in 1928. He started working as a miner in 1929 and became a union member that same year.

In November 1946 he became a community representative in Bockum-Hövel and a member of the Lüdinghausen district council . He kept his seat in the district council until he resigned on October 9, 1962. From 1951 he was a full-time trade union secretary. In 1956 he became the deputy mayor of Bockum-Hövel.

In the state elections in 1958, Kottenhahn was elected in constituency 112 (Unna-Nord) as a direct candidate for the SPD in the North Rhine-Westphalian state parliament. He was an MP from July 21, 1958 to July 20, 1962.
