Karl Latschenberger

Karl Latschenberger (born October 17, 1890 in Melbing , Zeillern municipality ; † January 23, 1977 in Zeillern ) was an Austrian politician ( CSP ) and farmer. Latschenberger was a member of the Lower Austrian state parliament from 1932 to 1938 .

Latschenberger attended the agricultural school in Tulln after elementary school and in 1919 took over the family farm in Melbing. Between 1922 and 1934 Latschenberger worked as chairman of the district chamber of farmers in Amstetten, and from 1927 to 1938 and from 1945 to 1965 he was district chairman of the farmers' union. Latschenberger was also involved in local politics and held the office of Vice Mayor between 1924 and 1938 and from 1945 to 1955. He worked as a functionary in various agricultural cooperatives and from 1945 to 1963 chaired the supervisory board of the Association of Rural Cooperatives. Latschenberger represented the Christian Social Party between May 21, 1932 and October 30, 1934 in the Lower Austrian state parliament and was representative of agriculture and forestry in the Lower Austrian state parliament between November 22, 1934 and March 12, 1938 during Austro-Fascism .
