Karl Lehfeld
Karl Lehfeld ( 1811 in Breslau - September 1, 1891 ) was a German doctor and medical adviser .
Life
Lehfeld studied in Berlin, where he received his doctorate in 1835 with the dissertation Nonnulla de vocis formatione , which was also recognized by Johannes Müller in his famous "Textbook of Physiology" . As a general practitioner in Berlin, he also made physiological contributions to the great Berlin encyclopedia of medical sciences (in 36 volumes), a work on cholera , and, on behalf of the ministry, a statistical work on the wear and tear of railway personnel. As a secret medical council , he celebrated his 50th anniversary as a doctor in 1885 and died on September 1, 1891.
