Karl Ludwig Baur

Karl Ludwig Baur (born April 22, 1794 in Schmiden ; † August 19, 1838 in Geislingen an der Steige ) was a Württemberg chief bailiff.

Life and work

Karl Ludwig Baur was the son of a dean and pastor. After leaving school, he trained as a typist and then studied state economics in Tübingen from 1818 to 1820 . In 1820 he passed the service examination at the Ministry of the Interior. Until 1829 he worked as a senior administrator in Künzelsau . From 1829 to 1830 he was Oberamtmann in Waldsee , from 1830 to 1832 in Aalen and from 1832 until his death in 1838 in Geislingen .
