Karl Marz

Karl Marz (born August 19, 1898 in Zierolshofen ; † June 26, 1977 in Kehl-Neumühl ) was a German farmer and politician ( DemP , FDP ).

Life

After attending elementary school, Marz pursued an agricultural activity. From 1916 to 1918 he took part in the First World War as a soldier . He then ran his own farm with an attached sand shop in Neumühl. After 1933 the sand business was shut down by the National Socialists.

Marz joined the Democratic Party in 1946, from which the state association of the FDP South Baden emerged in 1948. From 1946 he was mayor of the Neumühl community and from 1946 to 1947 he was a member of the Advisory State Assembly of the State of Baden .
