Karl Paul Täuber

Karl Paul Täuber (born April 4, 1867 in Winterthur , † February 19, 1948 in Zurich ) was a Swiss precision mechanic and electrical engineer .

At a young age he worked for Matthäus Hipp . He married Emilie Amsler (1869–1943). He studied physics at the Technikum Winterthur . From his Matura until October 1911, he was a senior engineer and authorized signatory at the Oerlikon machine factory . Then he became a partner in the company Trüb, Täuber & Co. in Hombrechtikon for electrical measuring instruments and scientific apparatus. In 1937 he received the honorary doctorate to Dr. phil. nat. of the University of Bern .
