Karl Picot

Karl Stanislaus Picot (born October 3, 1863 in Schwäbisch Hall , † May 25, 1939 ) was a German judge .

Life

He was Protestant. He passed the 1st state legal examination in 1886 with the grade "passed" and the 2nd in 1890 with the grade "passed". During his studies in Tübingen he became a member of the Germania Tübingen fraternity in 1882/83 . In 1891 he was a laborer for the Heilbronn public prosecutor's office. In 1893 he became a district judge in Heilbronn. In 1896 he became a district judge in Stuttgart. He became a regional judge there in 1903. He became a higher regional judge in Stuttgart in 1911. In October 1914 he was appointed to the Reichsgericht . During the First World War he was a captain in the central police station of the General Government of Warsaw . In 1932 he retired. One of his sons was the diplomat Werner Picot .
