Karl Rübel (General)

Karl Rübel (born August 16, 1895 in Dortmund , † March 8, 1945 in Pomerania ) was a German lieutenant general in the Wehrmacht .

Rübel, son of the archivist of the same name , went through numerous uses.

He was a teacher at the Infantry School Dresden and commander of the Army Sports School in Wünsdorf . From 1943 Rübel was the commander of the 163rd Infantry Division . In 1944 he was appointed lieutenant general.

He also published textbooks on sports and physical education.
