Karl Rasch

Georg Karl Rasch (born December 28, 1854 in Winzenburg , † April 3, 1931 in Hildesheim ) was President of the Marienwerder and Celle Higher Regional Courts .

Life

After studying law at the universities of Göttingen, Leipzig and Berlin, Rasch joined the judiciary in 1878 as a trainee lawyer. He became a court assessor in 1883. District judges in Lehe in 1887 and district judges in Elberfeld in 1890 were the next career stages. In 1897 he was promoted to the district judge. In 1899 he came to Cologne as a higher regional judge. In 1901 he was also the Imperial Bank Commissioner at the Reichsbank headquarters in Cologne, which administered Cologne's treasury of 7 million marks. In 1907 he became president of the regional court in Altona, which was then still in Prussia. In 1916 he was appointed president of the higher regional court in Marienwerder, which was the voting area in 1920 . From 1921 until his retirement in 1923 he was then President of the Higher Regional Court in Celle. He has held numerous awards including the title Real Secret Chief Justice.
