Karl Rauch (artist)

Karl Rauch (* 1804 in Darmstadt ; † unknown) was a German engraver , steel engraver , illustrator and architectural draftsman .

Live and act

Rauch was the brother and student of Ernst Rauch . From 1839 onwards, Rauch stayed in London for several years to study with H. Le Keux. He was made an honorary member by the British Architects' Association and owned several copper engravings by his brother, including the portrait of the chemist Justus von Liebig.
