Sorio ( Corsican Soriu ) is a municipality on the French Mediterranean island of Corsica . It belongs to the canton of Biguglia-Nebbio in the Arrondissement of Calvi . The residents call themselves Soriais or Suriacci . The settlement area is about 400 meters above sea level and consists of the village of Sorio and the hamlets of Croce and Valle. The neighboring municipalities are San-Gavino-di-Tenda in the north, Piève in the east and south, Pietralba in the south-west and west and Lama in the west and north-west.
