Palasca is a municipality on the French island of Corsica . It belongs to the Corsica region , the Haute-Corse department , the Calvi arrondissement and the canton of L'Île-Rousse .
geography
Palasca is about 350 meters above sea level. It borders the Ligurian Sea in the northwest . Neighboring communities are San-Gavino-di-Tenda in the northeast, Urtaca and Novella in the east, Olmi-Cappella in the south and Belgodère in the west. With Lama , Urtaca , Pietralba and Novella, Palasca is one of the 5 communities in the valley of the Ostriconi River .
Palasca has a train station at the Chemins de fer de la Corse .
