Nessa ( Corsican Nesce ) is a municipality on the French island of Corsica . It belongs to the Corsica region , the Haute-Corse department , the Calvi arrondissement and the canton of L'Île-Rousse . The residents call themselves Nessois or Nescinchi .
geography
Nessa is located at about 350 meters above sea level in the Balagne and borders in the northeast with Speloncato , in the southeast with Pioggiola and in the west with Feliceto . In addition to the main settlement, Nessa also includes the hamlets of Costa, Funtana au nord and Funtana au sud.
