Lavatoggio ( Corsican Lavatoghju ) is a municipality at about 260 meters above sea level in the Balagne region on the French island of Corsica . It belongs to the region of the same name , the Haute-Corse department , the Calvi arrondissement and the Calvi canton . It is bordered by Aregno to the north, Cateri to the east, Montegrosso to the south and Lumio to the west . The residents call themselves Lavatoggiais or Lavatughjinchi.
