Barbaggio ( Corsican Barbaghju ) is a commune in the French Haute-Corse on the island of Corsica . It belongs to the canton of Biguglia-Nebbio in the Arrondissement of Calvi . Neighboring communities are Farinole in the north-west, Patrimonio in the north, Ville-di-Pietrabugno in the north-east, Bastia in the east, Furiani in the south-east, Poggio-d'Oletta in the south, Oletta in the south-west and Saint-Florent in the west. The settlement area is an average of 300 meters above sea level and consists of the villages of Piazze, Poggio and Gorgaccia.
