Moncale ( Corsican U Mucale ) is a municipality on the French island of Corsica . It belongs to the Corsica region , the Haute-Corse department , the Calvi arrondissement and the Calvi canton . The residents call themselves Moncalais or Muncalacci.

Moncale is an enclave of Calenzana . A stream called Figarella forms the municipality boundary in the west.
