Cateri ( Corsican I Càtari ) is a municipality in the French department of Haute-Corse on the island of Corsica . It belongs to the canton of Calvi in the Arrondissement of Calvi . The residents call themselves Catérais or Cataracci.
geography
Cateri is located in the Corsican mountains at about 300 meters above sea level. The municipality is bordered by Aregno and Sant'Antonino to the north, Feliceto and Muro to the east, Avapessa to the south, Montegrosso to the southwest and Lavatoggio to the west .
