Occhiatana ( Corsican Ochjatana ) is a municipality on the French island of Corsica . It belongs to the Corsica region , the Haute-Corse department , the Calvi arrondissement and the canton of L'Île-Rousse .
geography
The municipality marker borders the Ligurian Sea in the north . The Route nationale 197 runs along the seashore there. The village center is located in the south-east of the Balagne at 350 meters above sea level and is served by the Chemins de fer de la Corse with a train station. The neighboring communities are Belgodère in the east, Olmi-Cappella in the southeast,
- Pioggiola in the southwest and Ville-di-Paraso , Costa and Monticello in the west.
