Algajola ( Corsican Algaghjola ) is a French commune and a Corsican seaside resort with 358 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) on the northwest coast of the island between Calvi and L'Île-Rousse . It is in the Balagne .

The municipality belongs to the canton of Calvi and is part of the arrondissement of Calvi .

The tourism is crucial for Algajola: While the population in winter only counts about 200 inhabitants that populate the summer thousands of the town and the surrounding area. Hotels and campsites in the immediate vicinity of the Mediterranean attract numerous guests. In addition to bathers, hikers also use Algajola as a starting point to the nearby Corsican highlands and to villages in the hinterland.
