Luka Leban (born September 17, 1992 in Kranj ) is a former Slovenian ski jumper .

Career

Leban began his career with a 15th place in the individual competition at the Junior World Championships 2007 in Toblach . He made his international debut in two competitions within the framework of the FIS Cup on July 28 and 29, 2007 in Bischofshofen , where he was 42nd and 16th. He achieved great success at the Junior World Championships in 2008, where he took third place in the individual competition. In the same year he made his debut in the Continental Cup at its station in Velenje , where he was 22. In February 2009 he won the gold medal in the team competition at the European Youth Olympic Winter Festival 2009 in Szczyrk . At the Slovenian Ski Jumping Championships 2010 in Kranj , he won the bronze medal in individual and team competitions.

In the following years Leban started regularly and with variable success in the FIS Cup, the Continental Cup and the Alpine Cup . After two last Continental Cup competitions in February 2011 in his hometown Kranj, which he graduated as 40th and 41st, Leban ended his active sports career.

Leban currently lives in Naklo .
