Karl Schneider (born December 16, 1902 ; † unknown) was an Austrian football player and football coach .

Player career

In 1924 Schneider came from ASV Hertha Wien to the Vienna amateur sports club, which two years later took on the name FK Austria Wien . With this club he won the Austrian championship in 1926 . Between 1925 and 1929 he played a total of 101 league games for Austria and scored nine goals. After his time at Austria Wien, Schneider played for SC Nicholson, which from 1933 was called FC Wien .

National team

On September 19, 1926 he made his international debut for the national team of Austria . Between 1926 and 1928 Schneider completed a total of seven international matches and scored one goal.

Coaching career

From 1941 to 1942 Schneider was a trainer at FK Austria Wien . In the Tschammer Cup in 1941 , his team was eliminated in the quarter-finals against FC Schalke 04 . In the Gauliga of the Gauliga Donau-Alpenland he reached fourth place with Austria Wien in the 1941/42 season .
