Karl Sediwy

Karl Sediwy (* approx. 1916; † unknown) was an Austrian table tennis player . He was twice Austrian champion and once German champion in the individual .

Career

Karl Sediwy played in various Austrian table tennis clubs, including Sturm II and Oe. JR Donaustadt (1937). He was successful from 1934. In this and the following year he was Austrian champion in individual. At world championships he won two silver and one bronze with the Austrian team .

Like Trude Pritzi , he took part in the German championships after Austria was annexed to Germany. He was German champion in the individual in 1938 and German team champion in 1939 with the Post Sports Club Vienna . Sediwy came to Munich for his first international assignment on May 2, 1938. In the international match against Sweden he won his singles against Andersson and Gustaf Johnsson.
