Karl Spenger (born December 26, 1925 , † December 22, 1997 ) from Wil in the canton of St. Gallen was a Swiss entrepreneur and balloon pilot. In 1984 and 1994 he won the Gordon Bennett Cup , the oldest annual international balloon sport event for gas balloons.
