Karl Traxler

Karl Traxler (born May 4, 1905 in Golling an der Erlauf , † November 27, 1982 ) was an Austrian politician ( SPÖ ) and farmer. Traxler was a member of the Lower Austrian state parliament from 1946 to 1949 .

Traxler worked as a worker at the Hitiag company between 1924 and 1940 and in 1940 took over a farm in Unter-Egging , where he subsequently worked. He was a member of the Republican Protection Association and was drafted into the Volkssturm in 1945 . After the end of World War II , he was a local councilor in Ratzenberg and Bergland between 1945 and 1975 and represented the SPÖ in the Lower Austrian state parliament between June 17, 1946 and November 5, 1949, replacing the retired deputy Oskar Helmer .
