Karl Vorholz

Karl Vorhölzer (* 1810 in Memmingen ; † 1887 in Diessen am Ammersee ) was a German painter , fresco artist and wall painter.

Ceiling painting in the parish church of Oberigling

The large ceiling painting in the nave of the Catholic parish church of St. Peter and Paul in Oberigling with the signature "Vorhölzer in Diessen 1853" comes from him . It shows the church patrons Peter and Paul. Another work by him is the painting on the west gallery of St. Alban in Diessen . It shows the procession to St. Alban.
