Karl Vormbrock
Karl Vormbrock (born November 13, 1884 in Senne , Bielefeld district; † May 27, 1958 in Bielefeld ) was a German educator, local researcher and author.
Life
Karl Vormbrock was born in 1884 as the son of an innkeeper and baker. After attending the teachers' seminar in Gütersloh , he worked at various schools in the districts of Minden and Bielefeld . From 1930 he worked as rector in Bielefeld.
In addition to his work as a teacher, Karl Vormbrock worked as an author and editor of local history writings. His special interest was the preservation and maintenance of the Low German language .
Karl Vormbrock was the brother of Heinrich Vormbrock .
