The Khlong Tron National Park ( Thai : อุทยานแห่งชาติ คลอง ตรอน ) is a national park in the northeast of the northern region of Thailand . It was opened as a National Park of Thailand in 2003 .

geography

The national park covers a rugged area of ​​518.79 km², it is located in the districts ( Amphoe ) Thong Saen Khan and Nam Pat in the province of Uttaradit . The terrain consists of different mountain ranges, the highest point is Mount Phu Miang at 1500 meters, other mountains are Khao Khwam Ruea, Khao Ngai Ruea, Khao Sam Liam, Khao Thanon and others. The national park is also the origin of various streams which flow into the Mae Nam Nan .

climate

The rainy season lasts from May to September. This is followed by the cool winter from October to February. The summer months with temperatures between 13 and 42 ° C start in March and end in April.
