Doi Phahom Pok National Park is located in Chiang Mai Province . It includes parts of the districts ( Amphoe ) Mae Ai , Fang and Chai Prakan and the municipality of Tambon Mon Pin.

The national park takes its name from the mountain Doi Phahom Pok (also: Doi Fahom Pok, ดอย ฟ้า ห่ม ปก ), the second highest mountain in Thailand. The mountain is located in the Amphoe Fang and rises to a height of 2285 meters. Above is a small plateau from which a small peak rises.

Fang is also famous for its hot water springs, which are spread over an area of ​​approximately 10 rai , roughly 16,000 square meters. The water is mineral and has a temperature of 90 to 130 ° C.

The geysers emerging from the springs rise up to 50 meters for approx. 2 minutes and at a distance of approx. 25 minutes.

The Huai Bon Cave ( ถ้ำ ห้วย บอน ) is a large stalactite cave with excellent stalagmites and stalactites. There are two entrances to the cave, about 150 meters apart. The largest extension is about 25 meters wide. About ten other smaller caves can be found in the nearby area. Huai Bon Cave is about 12 km from Fang and about four kilometers from the hot water spring, which is easily accessible on foot.

The Huai Hian Waterfall ( น้ำตก ห้วย เฮี้ยน ) is located about three kilometers from the Huai Bon Cave in the north of the Huai Hian River. The waterfall has seven steps and has water all year round.

The Na-Ma-Uen waterfall ( น้ำตก นา มะ อื้น ) is located in the Amphoe Mae Ai , Tambon Mae Sao . It is a large waterfall in which the water pours over three high and wide steps all year round. Mosses and ferns can be found on the bank, a rare occurrence in Thailand.

Other waterfalls are the Pong Nam Dang ( น้ำตก โป่งน้ำ ดัง ), which is in the immediate vicinity of the park administration, and the Tat Mok ( น้ำตก ตาด หมอก ), which is about four kilometers northeast of Mae Ai .
