The Khao Chamao National Park - Khao Wong ( Thai : อุทยานแห่งชาติ เขา ชะ เมา - เขาวง ) is a national park in eastern Thailand . The park is named after two elevations in the provinces of Rayong and Chanthaburi .

location

The Khao-Chamao-Khao-Wong National Park is located about 70 kilometers east of the city of Rayong or west of Chanthaburi and covers an area of about 84 km², which is located in both the ( Changwat ) Rayong and Chanthaburi provinces . It represents an important watershed , especially for agriculture in this region.

climate

The climate is tropical - monsoonal with about 3000 mm annual precipitation . Heavy rains can occur between May and October, the temperatures between November and February are pleasantly cool, and March and April are summery and warm. The average temperatures are between 26 and 27 ° C.
