The National Park Mae Moei ( Thai : อุทยานแห่งชาติ แม่ เมย ) is a national park in Thailand . It is located in the northwest region of the country.

Mae Moei National Park was designated a National Park of Thailand in 1990. The park got its name from the neighboring Mae Nam Moei , the border river between Thailand and Myanmar.

The national park covers an area of ​​115,800 Rai (185.28 km²), it is located in the district ( Amphoe ) Tha Song Yang in the province of Tak

The park consists of different mountain ranges with an average altitude of 680 meters, the highest point is 1250 meters. The western border of the park is formed for about 50 km by Mae Nam Moei and the land border with Myanmar.

climate

As in almost all other parts of the country, there are three seasons here: the rainy, winter and summer seasons. Depending on the altitude, different temperatures can settle here. The rainy season runs from May to October.
