Karl Wohrle

Karl Wöhrle (born November 3, 1861 in Linz ; † November 2, 1918 there ) was an Austrian politician ( DNP ) and baker. From 1909 to 1915 he was a member of the Upper Austrian Landtag .

Life

Wöhrle was active as a baker in Linz from 1887, taking over his father's bakery. He was married and the father of 6 children.

Wöhrle was President of the Trade Promotion Institute and in 1902 took over the office of chairman of the trade section of the Chamber of Commerce. He was also active as President of the Central Association of Credit Organizations of the Alpine Countries and from 1909 was President of the Craftsmen Exhibition in Linz.

Wöhrle represented the German National Party between December 23, 1902 and December 19, 1908 and between September 21, 1909 and 1915 as a member of the state parliament for the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in the Upper Austrian state parliament. He was also a councilor in Linz from 1904 to 1918.
