Karl von Beck
Johann Friedrich Karl Beck , from 1875 by Beck , (* December 12, 1818 in Ludwigsburg , † January 5, 1886 in Schwäbisch Hall ) was a German Protestant theologian.

After attending the Protestant theological seminar, Karl Beck began his professional career in 1845 as a repetitee. In 1847 he became a helper, in 1848 a senior helper, in 1855 a pastor and in 1858 dean in Reutlingen . In 1873, Karl Beck went to Schwäbisch Hall as general superintendent .

The general superintendents of the Protestant regional church were privileged members of the second chamber of the Württemberg state parliament by virtue of their office . After his appointment, Karl Beck therefore entered the state parliament on October 21, 1873. He held the office until his death.
family
Karl Beck was the son of the senior servant Johannes Beck in Ludwigsburg and Christiane Beck geb. Wetschenbach, he had six siblings. By marrying his sister Sophie he was the brother-in-law of Friedrich von Schmidlin .
