Karol Marko (born April 2, 1966 in Bratislava ) is a former Slovak soccer player and current soccer coach .

As a player, Marko did not get beyond the second Slovak division.
Trainer
Marko started out as an assistant coach at ŠKP Devín . He then worked in the same position at FK Lamač and the A-youth of Rapid Bratislava. Through his wife, who comes from Mexico , he got an engagement with the Mexican third division club Jaguares de Acapulco. After his return to Slovakia, Marko coached the Rapid Bratislava B team and was then an assistant to TJ Veľké Leváre and ŠK Slovan Bratislava . In the first half of 2005 he worked as an assistant coach for the Polish first division club Górnik Zabrze .
For the 2005/06 season he became an assistant at FK AS Trenčín , in March he was promoted to the head coach post, which he held until October 2006. In February 2007 he came to MFK Ružomberok as an assistant coach , in September he became head coach of the Czech second division club FC Vysočina Jihlava . For the 2009/10 season Marko moved to 1. FK Příbram .
He completed several internships in Italy , including at Udinese Calcio , AC Cesena and, at the end of 2006, at Hellas Verona .
