Karoline Lund (born May 31, 1999 in Oslo , Norway ) is a Norwegian handball player who is under contract with the Norwegian first division club Aker Topphåndball .

Career

Karoline Lund played for Rælingen from 2005 to 2013. After the back player started playing for Fjellhammer in 2014, she returned to Rælingen in 2015. Two years later she joined the second division club Aker Topphåndball. In the 2018/19 season Lund was under contract with first division club Larvik HK , for which she scored 46 goals in 22 first division games. Furthermore, Lund threw five hits in the group stage of the EHF Champions League and after the elimination another 14 hits in the EHF Cup . She then returned to the first division promoted Aker Topphåndball. In 2019 she won the Norgesmesterkap, the Norwegian cup competition, with Aker's U20 team. In the final, Lund scored eleven goals.

Lund ran a total of 28 times for the Norwegian national youth team, in which they scored 35 goals. At the U-18 World Cup in 2016, she finished fourth with Norway. Then she came to 30 missions in the Norwegian junior national team. With this team, she finished sixth at the U-19 European Championship in 2017 and second place at the U-20 World Championship in 2018 .
