The Karovoevatnet ( Norwegian ; Russian Озеро Каровое Osero Karowoje , German 'Bodensee' ) is a lake on the Princess Astrid coast of the East Antarctic Queen Maud Land . It is located on the northeast side of the Russeskaget in the Schirmacher Oasis .
Russian scientists named him. The Norwegian Polar Institute translated this name into Norwegian in 1972.
